Emalee Long Klomp's Obituary
Emalee Long Klomp, 91, Huntsville UT, passed away Tuesday, October 4,2022 at home of natural causes.
She was born on March 1, 1931 in Kannapolis, North Carolina. She graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University, Hickory NC, in 1953 with a degree in music. She met Herman Klomp at Carolina Beach, NC, and got married on January 10, 1954 in the North Kannapolis United Methodist Church. She loved teaching third grade at Sunset Elementary School room 1 for 34 years where she enjoyed playing the piano for school plays. She also liked camping, boating, snowmobiling and going on trips. Mrs. Klomp was a daughter of the late William Henry and Pearl Keller Long.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Klomp, brother Larry Wayne Long, and sister Mary Clay Adams.
Survivors include a brother Willard Marion Long of Landis, NC, and son Terry Herman Klomp of Huntsville, UT.
