We were first just neighbors, then friends with Emily and Don when we moved to the ward in 2006. We all personally were blessed by her loving warmth and learned from her unstoppable desire to serve whether it was missionaries or young adults she was always serving and bringing people into her home with a hearty meal. After they served a Mission in San Diego, their loving hearts were even more converted to hugging people, and we as good Mexicans can not greet someone we love without a hug!!! Emily was a living example of a disciple of Christ by word, but mostly deed. Our lives were better because of the opportunity to get to know her and Don over the years. We will always love them both!
