Emily Carrington Thomas' Obituary
Emily Carrington Thomas was taken from this world and us prematurely on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was born October 4, 1979, and throughout her life she was a paragon of kindness and a center of strength for all those who knew her.
Emily gave birth to her only child, Taylor, in 1999. Taylor and she are very close and have had many fun adventures together and are best friends. They love to laugh, watch shows together, travel and explore the cities around them.
Emily made many long lasting connections and lifelong friendships at her places of work, with both her coworkers and customers alike. Not to mention her many friends and neighbors from her childhood, and of course her family, all of whom, needless to say, miss her dearly and ask for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maxie Lee Thomas (June 16, 2016). Emily is survived by her child (Taylor L Williams), her parents (Jerry & Kay Carrington), sister (Mindy & Danny Walsh), her nieces and nephew, many loving cousins, aunts and uncles and countless friends.
A celebration of Emily’s life will be held Wed, Dec 20th from 4:30 - 6:30 PM at the Crestwood Chapel at 1039 E Crestwood Rd, Kaysville, Utah. The family would love for you stop by anytime during the celebration.
In the spirit of Emily’s loving heart and her need to help those in pain, we ask that you make a donation in her name to a charity of your choosing if it is within your means. If you are unable to make a donation we simply ask that you make someone smile today and tell them that you love them.
