Emma Chloe Hoskins
January 1st, 1939 - May, 20th, 2022
Emma climbed the stairway to heaven to reunite with the love of her life and best friend Jerry on May, 20th, 2022.
She lived the life of her dreams.
She attended Ogden schools and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. She went on to graduate from Weber State Nursing program.
Her career began at the old Dee Hospital and from there she moved to the first McKay Dee Hospital where she spent the next 35 years working and making lasting friendships.
She married her best friend and love of her life Jerry Hoskins. They were blessed with 2 children: Lisa and Matt. They raised their family in West Point and enjoyed country living.
After retirement, they hit the road in the RV, living and working as camp hosts along the way. Their favorite spot to camp and host was Strawberry Reservoir.
Emma lost Jerry in 2019, and though life had changed, she continued to take on new challenges and hobbies. She joined the Riverdale Senior Center where she volunteered and made a group of wonderful friends she adored.
She is survived by her children, Lisa Dow, Matthue (Lisa) Hoskins, she has 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her parents, husband Jerry, Brother Dean and Great Grandson, Jerimiah.
At her request there will be a graveside service at the Lindquist Washington Heights Cemetery,
4500 East Washington Blvd on Tuesday, May 31st at 11:00am.
