Eugene Roger McPhee's Obituary
Our wonderful grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Gene was born October 21, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Eugene R. and Della M. McPhee. He graduated from Granger High School in 1961 and enlisted in the US Navy shortly after. Gene married the love of his life Dalene Christopherson May 16, 1969 in Salt Lake City and spent 36 wonderful years together. They had a daughter Karen and one granddaughter Kailee Gores. He is proceeded in death by his parents Eugene R McPhee Sr. and Della M. Snow, wife Dalene Christopherson, and daughter Karen Gores. Survived by his granddaughter Kailee Gores, Sister Joan (Dan) Tate, Brother Scott (Connie) McPhee, many loving nieces, nephews and friends and his faithful companion Sam. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11:00 at the LDS church on 5775 S 2700 W, Taylorsville, UT. Viewing will be held for one hour prior to services. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S 1700 E, Sandy, UT.
