Although I was a member of the first graduating class in Computer Science at BYU, I didn't meet Evan until after both of us were done with our time at BYU. He was working on some sophisticated genealogical analysis when we became acquainted, and we shared a deep passion for all aspects of Family History. I would have loved to have him as a teacher during my student years. He was truly an asset to the Computer Science Department!

I will never forget this man for many admirable things. One of those qualities that stands out more than others is the way he loved my kids and their curiosity! It always brings tears to my eyes when I think about his generous love toward them. His genuine love for all people shows even by just talking with him for a few minutes. He made the world a better place wherever he went.
