Fred Barker
Evan liked to play sports and was fun to play with. He was as strong as an ox and very athletic. When you played against him you wanted to make sure you brought your "A" game. I will always remember and respect him as being an honest man. When Evan was hauling fruit he would buy some from us to fill out his load of peaches and cherries, and when we went to settle up, Evan would short himself before shorting me. He was a hard worker, proud of his family and a loyal friend.
