Evelyn M Wallberg . A lifelong resident of Ogden Utah passed away peacefully in her home on October 20 2025 at the age of 87. Born on July 28 1938 in Ogden Utah to Albert and Lucille Herring. Evelyn spent her life rooted in the community she loved .
A graduate of Ben lomand high school, Evelyn carried with her a strong sense of dedication and compassion throughout her her life.
She married Carl R Wallberg and together they built a family grounded in love and resilience. Though Carl preceded her in death, their legacy continues through their children and grandchildren .
Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her daughter Susan L Myers (Wallberg) and son David C Wallberg her son in-law Chris L Myers and her cherished grand children
Andrew Myers, Brian Myers, Mackenzie Lebuna (Wallberg) Ethan Wallberg, Eric Wallberg, Austin Wallberg and Courtany Wallberg. Her joy extended to the next generation as well her great grandchildren
Nova Rosalee Myers, Brayden Wallberg and Jersey Wallberg brought light and love to here later years.
She was proceeded in death by her husband; Carl R Wallberg Son; Michael R Wallberg
Daughter; Cheryl A Wallberg; Parents; Albert and Lucille herring
Evelyn had a generous heart and found joy in giving to others . She lovingly knitted socks and hats for those in need and created handmade items for newborns at the hospital - a quiet but powerful testament to her compassion. She enjoyed going to the golden hour with friends. Her green thumb was evident in her rose bushes lilacs and peonies she tended with care. Often spending time outdoors enjoying there beauty. She also found comfort in simple pleasures crossword puzzles that keep her mind sharp favorite television shows that brought laughter or reflection, and cooking meals that brought her family together around the table .
Those who knew Evelyn will remember her as kind hearted and deeply devoted to those she loved and knew. Her presence was a sense of humor, warmth and strength a guiding light for generations of family members.
Rest in peace mom and fly with your angels. You will never be forgotten you will always be in our hearts forever until we meet again someday We love you mom .
May Evelyn’s memory bring comfort to all who knew her and loved her.
Evelyn’s wishes were to be cremated and buried next to her husband and son at the Ogden cemetery.
