Everett “Russ” Russell Dierenfeldt
1955 - 2019
Everett Russell Dierenfeldt, “Russ”, passed away at the age of 64 on Wednesday October 30, 2019. Russ grew up in Bethany Missouri and attended Albany High School. He loved football, baseball, hunting, shooting, camping and spending time with his family
Russ was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Roy 14th Ward. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather and loved his family more than anything else. He loved his Savior, bore his testimony often and was a patriot at heart.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Shelley Dierenfeldt; parents Richard and Phyllis Westlake, Max and Loraine Fitzsimmons, Harold and Mary Lee Thompson; siblings: Gene (Shanda) Dierenfeldt and Rick (Jane) Dierenfeldt, children: Whitney (Andrew) Strong, Spencer Dierenfeldt, Tiffany (Clay) Waugh, Roxanne (Kenny) Cottrell, Jennifer (Bill) Ahlstrom and Beth (Sam) Reese as well as 22 grandchildren and numerous extended family.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 1505 Whispering Meadow Lane, Kaysville, Utah with a viewing prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 am. There will also be a viewing Friday evening, November 1, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the LDS meeting house located at 204 South Angel Street, Kaysville, Utah. Interment at Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, friends can make contributions to the local LDS missionary fund in Russ’ name.
