Florence Blain Workman's Obituary
Florence Blain Aagard Workman passed away November 12, 2010 at her home in Holladay, Utah at the age of 91. Florence was born in Spring City, Utah to Emmaline Larsen Blain and John Slack Blain on December 19, 1918. She married Arvard Aagard on May 28, 1945 in the Manti Temple. Florence and Arvard lived in Fountain Green, Utah and had 5 children. Arvard passed away on December 2, 1957. Florence attended Brigham Young University. She liked to travel and see new places and enjoyed telling stories about growing up in Spring City. Florence married Grant Workman on August 6, 1966 in Elko, Nevada. They lived in Salt lake City, Elko, Nevada, Sherman Oaks, California and Holladay, Utah. Grant passed away March 14, 2003. She is survived by four of her five children; Nanette (Mike) Olson, Andrew Aagard, Diane Mead Aagard and James Aagard. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Virginia Ann (Scott) Johnson, her sisters Ida Radtz abd Louise Openshaw, brothers Rulon Blain, Arthur Blain and Robert Blain. Florence is also survived by three step-children, Richard (Marsha) Workman, Barbara Cheney, Steven Workman and six step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Cottonwood 10th Ward Chapel, 4930 South Westmoor lRoad (1725 East). Friends and family are invited to call one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow at 3pm at the Fountain Green Cemetery.
