Floyd Allen Jones' Obituary
Floyd Allen Jones, 83, passed away July 11, 2026 at his care facility in South Jordan, Utah.
Floyd was born January 1, 1943 in Vernal, Utah to Isaac Allen Jones and Aleatha Dansie. Floyd married Dorothy Norene Moss, March 19, 1974. It was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Norene passed away July 24, 2009.
Floyd graduated high school in Vernal, 2 years at BYU. Floyd worked as an industrial electrician. He was very good at mathematics. Floyd served in the US Army.
Floyd was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved to serve and help others. He loved to tell stories about his life. Floyd was very independent; he wanted to do everything himself.
We will miss you Floyd. We know you are with your family and your loving Heavenly Father.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Valley View Memorial Cemetery next to his loving wife.
