Gary always had a positive attitude in everything he went through in the brief time we have known him. In those few short years, we saw a side of him which was one of true perspective and made me want to be a better person because of what he did.
One of his children's wedding receptions we attended about 3 years ago, he told me of the many things he had been undergoing with treatments and such, but he was a fighter and kept the right disposition in his perspective.
Our hearts go out to all of you, Kelli and your family at this time. We mourn his passing and he will be missed. Nevertheless, we are sure of a glorious resurrection and take stalk and comfort in the words of Job in the Bible who stated "For my witness is in heaven and my record is on high." (Job 16:19). "For I know that my Redeemer Liveth and He shall stand at the latter days upon the earth." (Job 16:25).
