This man was one of a kind, he always knew how to make us laugh, taught us more than I can even list, and truly loved his family. I do not have many childhood summer time memories without him in them. Fishing, horse back riding, Bingo, breakfast at Daisy Mae's and let's not forget watching the rodeos on TV where he knew every rider and their standings. He fought so many battles but never let it get him down. I adored this man and looked up to him. His talents and kind heart and fun loving spirit are what will stay with me my entire life. I can say that he will be missed so much and we are so blessed to have had him be in our lives as long as we did. I love you Papa and miss you so much already!

I had the pleasure of calling you “Dad” for 25 years and am very thankful for all the things you taught me about hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. So many good memories…you were always the life of the party! A strong and humble man that I will always carry in my heart. My condolences to the entire Gottlob family and friends.
