I am deeply saddened at the passing of Gary. What a good man, and what a beautiful family. I did not have the pleasure of meeting his sweet wife, Kengie, but I know she must be an amazing lady to raise such an incredible family. Gary and I were high school friends. I knew of his friendship and conversion with Kent. I knew that Gary had an incredibly good heart. He was fun to be around and was always very positive. My last encounter with him was at our 50th high school graduation anniversary. It was fun to connect with him after so many decades. He still had that wonderful demeanor and kindness. I could feel the love of his children and family as I listened to the funeral services. There is no question in my mind that when he visited with the savior, he received the comment, well done, Val, good and faithful servant! I lost my eternal sweetheart 13 1/2 years ago. She is always deeply on my mind, although I have been able to find a beautiful woman to marry and provide companionship. Kengie, you will be in my heart and prayer. I know his passing is hard, but I also know peace will come as you receive the comforter. My best to you and your beautiful family!
