Gavon Mackenzie Erich Lebaron-Burtoft August 12, 1993 – July 30, 2026.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gavon Lebaron, who left this world on July 30, 2026, at the age of 32.
Born on August 12, 1993, Gavon lived a life defined by love, loyalty, laughter, and compassion. He was a devoted son, brother, and father, and his family was the center of his world. Those who knew Gavon will remember him not only for his infectious smile and quick wit but also for the genuine kindness and generosity he showed to everyone he met.
Gavon found his greatest happiness spending time with the people he loved. Whether camping beneath the stars, enjoying the outdoors, riding his bike, skateboarding, or cheering on his favorite sports, he embraced life with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. Music was one of Gavon's greatest passions. There was rarely a moment when he wasn't listening to music, and it was a constant source of joy, comfort, and expression throughout his life. He had an incredible sense of humor and a sharp mind that made every conversation memorable. His laughter was contagious, and he had a unique gift for bringing smiles to those around him, even on the most difficult days.
More than anything else, Gavon cherished being a father. His beloved son, Charlie James Lebaron, was the light of his life and his greatest source of pride and joy. The love Gavon had for Charlie was immeasurable, and anyone who saw them together could see the deep bond they shared. His eyes would light up the moment he saw his little boy, and the memories they created together will forever be treasured.
Although Gavon's time with us was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the countless lives he touched will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on through Charlie and through the enduring memories he leaves with his family and friends.
Gavon is survived by his mother, Heidi Lebaron; father, Erich Lebaron; brother, Dakota Lebaron; sister, Sienna Lebaron; son, Charlie Lebaron; and an abundance of extended family members, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gavon's life at Premier Funeral Services, 67 East 8000 South, Midvale, Utah 84047, on Saturday, August 8, 2026. A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by a memorial gathering from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Lebaron family is deeply grateful for the love and support shown during this difficult time. Gavon will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered!
