Gayle Hubert's Obituary
At 74 years old, an angel has gained her wings at home in Salt Lake City, UT.
Gayle was born on November 29, 1950 to Vera Jean and Jack Alton Whitmore in Ashton, Idaho. She grew up in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming with an older brother, Jack, and older sister, Rita and a younger brother, Paul. She met the love of her life, Robert Hubert, in Kemmerer and later married him in Evanston, Wyoming. Together, they had 3 children, Bobby, Kristy and Rena. Gayle enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, and spending time with friends and family. In 1987, she shot a Shiras Moose in the Kemmerer, Wyoming area, which placed in the Boone and Crockett record book. She graduated from Western Wyoming College in Rock Springs, Wyoming and worked as a CNA for many years in Colorado, Idaho and Utah.
Gayle passed peacefully on September 19, 2025 in the early morning hours. She will be forever loved and missed by survivors; her son Bobby, daughter Kristy (Chuck),daughter Rena (Juan), grandchildren Tricia, Ashley, Robert, Aspen, Hailey(Jose), Willow and brothers Jack and Paul (Diane). After 31 years, she rejoined the love of her life, Robert Hubert (1994), forever united. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jack Aton (1960) and Vera Jean (2019) sister Rita Jean (1972), granddaughter Omni Jean (1992).
