My prayers and thoughts are with the Romero family, especially Ramona. I have been blessed to visit with George and Ramona many times in their home. Their faith in God was never wavering. We shared many faith filled prayers together and I will always consider it my honor to have known George and been a small part of their lives.
George always had a smile on his face for me and my cousin Jerry even when he knew we were up to something we shouldn't be.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. George was always a gentle and loving man, he was very special to Heather.

Grandpa George, oh how we love you!! I am printing out some pictures of you and little Lincoln to send to the family. Ill think of making eggs many mornings...I cooked, you chopped the onions because I was a sissy and my eyes cried! I remember grandma teasing because I put maple syrup on them. .. you said "ah hell, I'll try it"...After that you wanted it every morning!!! :-) You are an amazing man who loved my children and me and opened your life up to us. Although it has been many years since I've seen the Romero's and only vague childhood memories, I remember their kindness. My heart goes out to Ramona and their children and family. May he rest in peace.
