Geraldine Johnson's Obituary
Geraldine Marie Johnson,68,from Moroni, UT passed away 14 March 2016 in Provo, UT. Geraldine is the oldest child born to Irving Dorr Johnson and Geraldine Parry on 28 March 1947 in Provo, UT. She grew up and graduated from Provo High School. She attended Provo Trade Tech. She married Virgil Lee Coombs on 22 February 1968 and later divorced 1969. She married Raymond Bruce Peterson on 19 June 1970. Bruce adopted Chris and Natalee before they divorced 1974.
Geraldine enjoyed working for the Daily Herald Newspaper, Frontier Café and retired from Nestle’s Stouffers. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed being in the mountains, camping, gardening, flowers, sewing, her pets and spending time with her family.
Geraldine is survived by her children: Chris Peterson, Natalee (Jim) Pemberton, Geoff Peterson and Brent Peterson. Grandchildren: Anthony, Andrew, Alysha, Alison, Samantha, Reagan and Jackson and 8 great grandchildren. Sisters: Linda (Floyd) Clark, Darlene Pace, Rosemary Kiggins and brother, Irving Johnson.She is proceeded death by her parents, sister (Diane), brother-in-laws (JR and LaMar) and grandson (Travis).
Geraldine was planning a celebration combining a birthday party for her great granddaughter and herself. We will have a Birthday/Memorial Service held on 20 March 2016 at 2 pm located at Nephi City Park 500 N Main St, Nephi. Where we will enjoy a pot luck dinner and activities for the children.
