Glen Woolsey Park's Obituary
Glen Woolsey Park, 73, passed away on Nov 19, 2023 from stroke-related complications. He was born on Oct 30, 1950, the youngest of 10 children, to John William Park and Ida Woolsey Park, in Murray, UT. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Jerman; six children (Audrey, Becky, Craig, Natalie, Anne, Emily); 34 grandchildren; and his sister, Ruby. Glen was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings (Joseph, Lois, Ivan, Geniel, Jay, Carole, Raymond, John). Glen's priority was his family and was the greatest supporter of all his kids and grandkids. He attended sporting events, dance and music recitals and more, and always championed each individual. Glen loved traveling with his wife and kids beginning with road trips then international destinations. In later years Glen traveled the globe with Dianne including trips to Israel, cruises, church history sites and temple trips with friends and family. Glen always let God prevail in his life. Glen was an amazing gospel scholar and had a great love for studying the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was an avid family history researcher and had a lifelong love for the temple and doing work for his ancestors. Glen was a brilliant attorney and received both his juris doctorate and undergraduate degrees in a total of 4 ½ years. He was a fast learner, had an incredible memory, was extremely intelligent and wise and knowledgeable in almost every subject. He helped family and friends for decades with not only legal work but just about anything they asked. As a hobby he self-published 10 books and had started 4 more. He served his entire life and positively influenced so many people's lives for the better. He was a do-it-yourselfer. When Glen and Dianne built their first house in South Jordan, Glen read a book about electrical wiring and wired the house himself. Glen had a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor to the end. Funeral services will be held on Dec 2 @ 1pm, viewing @ 11:30am (5450 S. Holladay Blvd).
