Glenda Fay Mumford
Glenda Fay Mumford was born April 13, 1938, in the Ogden family home, to Melvin and Darlene Cook Perkins.
She graduated from Ogden High School and LDS seminary.
A member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in the mutual, as ward librarian and as sunday school secretary. She was also a visiting teacher.
Glenda worked at IRS, Defense Depot in Ogden and Hill Air Force Base. She received many awards for her good work. As a single mother, she worked hard to provide for her family. She had three wonderful sons. Her children are Scott (Susan), Paul (Kirsten), and Dan (Julinn). She had 8 grandchildren that she loved very much Hilery, Jacob, Lauren, Logan (Patricia), Staci, Sean, Niccole, and Marley (Rick) as well as 7 great grandchildren Andrina, Tyson, Caleb, Dominic, Levi, Evelyn, and Winifred.
She also leaves behind her brother Grant (Linda). She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Lynn, and her sister Joyce.
Glenda enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz, BYU sports, and MLB baseball (Go Reds!). She loved keeping up with and cheering for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping. Glenda’s family enjoyed her cooking and baking, especially her big Christmas dinner.
She passed away October 18, 2025. She will be greatly missed.
