Gloria Price's Obituary
Our loving aunt, sister, friend Gloria Price, 78, peacefully passed away on April 3rd, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.
Gloria was born on April 21, 1945 to Parley Edward Price and Delsa Smith in Daniel, Utah. She lived a stone's throw away from her close family consisting of aunts, uncles and many close cousins. Gloria had a very successful career at Mountain Bell for over 30 years where she loved what she did for a living. After she retired, she continued to enjoy life to its fullest with her family and sweet puppies Gypsy, Bridgette, Missy and Bear who brought her great joy and entertainment.
Gloria had many hobbies and interests she shared with her friends and loved ones over the years. She enjoyed photography, crochet, and travel. She loved to travel with her family and friends all over the globe. Gloria never said no to an amazing adventure. Gloria loved to serve. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she would go to the temple and attend her beloved ward in Murray Utah where she had a multitude of close friends. Gloria and Diane had a very special bond as best friends and sisters. They were close from the day Diane yelled from the porch in Daniel Utah to her grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends that she had a “new baby sister”! That was just the beginning of a beautiful bond between two sisters who shared vacations, family events, ups and downs and many other events throughout their lives. Gloria was so generous to her nieces and nephews who adored the time they spent with her. They enjoyed shopping, treats, vacations and many family events together. She always made them feel like they were important.
Gloria was preceded in death by her loving parents Parley and Delsa Price, Bill Berg (Brother-in-law), Janice Price (Sister-in-law), Calvin Price (Brother), Liz Price (Sister-in-law). Gloria is survived by her sister and best friend Diane Berg (Holladay), brother Larry (Linda) Price (Sandy), brother Mike Price (Laverkin) along with her six nieces and nephews Julee, Jenn, Meridee, Tracie, Danny, Jamie. We would like to thank Canyon Hospice for their constant support and care for Gloria over the last several years. A special thank you to Josepha, her hospice nurse, and Linda Price who both worked diligently to ensure Gloria was taken care of in her final years. Services will be held at the LDS chapel 2285 So Daniels Rd, Daniel Utah on Monday, April 8th. The viewing will be held 10:30-11:45a with the funeral at 12:00p.
