A lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gordon married Angela Snyder in the Los Angeles, California temple on May 27, 1967. They were blessed with 5 children whom they raised in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Gordon will be remembered for his passion for music as well as his love of history, literature, and poetry. His children and grandchildren will cherish the many times he sang to them and told them stories. He loved teasing his grandchildren and making babies laugh.
