Gwen Lenore Lark's Obituary
Gwen Lenore Lark, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She left this world on November 6th 2023 after a lengthy battle with dementia.
Gwen was born to Clifford and Freda Crossan on March 14th 1936. Gwen moved around during her early years, following her father's appointments as USPS management. The family finally ended up in Denver where Gwen graduated from Denver East High School in 1954.
Gwen met and married Robert G. Lark on April 8th 1956 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Denver, Colorado.
Gwen is survived by her children, David T. Lark (Lynette W. Lark) and their children Trevor R. Lark and Ethan R. Lark; Sharon J. Carnefix (Charles M. Carnefix) and Sharon's daughter Lynsie N. Wheat (Mitchell J. Ruiz) and their daughters, Nora J. Wheat and Jenna M. Ruiz.
Gwen was employed as a Bank Teller, Election Clerk and an Airline Reservationist at times in her life.
Known for her quick wit, wry humor and her "Life according to Gwen" observations. She was always forthcoming with her honest opinion on just about any subject.
Gwen was an absolute artist with a sewing machine. She crafted many a quilt of spectacular beauty. Her artistic ability has been passed on to both her daughter and grand-daughter.
Gwen's wishes were that no services be held.
