One of my many memories of Harrell was our first Christmas program in Bairoil. We had just moved to Bairoil from Crooks Gap,Wy.which was a small oil field town. We usually did not have enough children in the small schools we attended to have much of a Christmas program,so we were quite impressed with the Christmas play that everyone had to participate in! I do not remember who Harrell's cohort was,but the song they sang is the only song I remember from that
lay! It was called "Nuts and Candy"! The words are as follows! Nuts and Candy Ho,ho,ho,nuts and Candy Ho,ho,ho! The children know we're good to eat and they like everything that's sweet! Nuts and Candy Ho,ho,no etc! Harrell and his cohort did a good job! It may have been Jerry Butler!
So sorry Sharon. I'm glad you had so much time together, and such a beautiful family. Not all of us were so blessed. Thinking of you...
