Heather Lindley Gray's Obituary
Heather Lindley Gray
January 20, 1983 - September 9, 2022
Heather was born in Ogden, Utah. Her parents Gloria and Dale Lindley were so happy to have this beautiful baby girl become a part of their family. She grew up in West Weber and attended Fremont High School. She was employed by American Cargo Group as a shipping coordinator. She excelled at her job, worked hard, and enjoyed the people she worked with. At age 28, Heather gave birth to her son Asher Austin Gray. Heather was a fantastic mother, and Asher was the most beautiful and important part of her life, she loved and cherished him tremendously.
Heather was kind, caring, thoughtful, dependable, hardworking, smart, and creative, and always enjoyed laughing and joking with her two sisters. She had a gift for interior decorating, enjoyed cooking and loved taking photos. One photo was selected as the KSL Weather Calendar weekly winner. As a family, we loved her so very much and were so proud to have her as a member of our family.
On September 5, 2020, she married Stephen Gray who brought more joy and happiness into her, and Asher's lives. Stephen worked extremely hard to provide for his family. This past year as Heather became ill with cancer, he provided wonderful and loving care to his sick wife. Heather's great love for her husband and children gave her a reason to fight cancer and endure horrible pain and suffering. Cancer took her away from us, but it cannot take away the love we have for her.
Heather is survived by her husband Stephen Gray; son Asher Austin Gray, and Stepchildren; McKenna, Jaycee, and Taelyr. Two sisters Tennille Ward (Keith); Jennifer Fernelius (Jay); parents Gloria and Dale Lindley; 5 nieces; 1 nephew.
