Heber Marion Bredsguard

Heber Marion Bredsguard was born September 8, 1920 in Monroe, UT to Edward Carl and Minnie Mae Jeffries Bredsguard. He died peacefully in the early hours of October 9, 2017 in his home of 71 years.
Heber served honorably in the Tenth Mountain Division in Italy during WWII and was the recipient of the purple heart. He was an accomplished tool and dye maker and worked for EIMCO Corporation for 36 years. He served as President of the IAM Local Lodge 568 (International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers) and was a devout member of the LDS church.
He married Vera Larsen Bredsguard on April 6, 1940, later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. They had two children Janet (Gary) Davis and Roger H. (Patricia) Bredsguard; four grandchildren: Bob (Denell) Bredsguard, Lori Bredsguard, Kurt (Tamera) Davis, and Cyndy Pedersen; 17 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Vera, his parents, and siblings.
Funeral services 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Whittier Ward, 1515 South 200 East, Salt Lake City, UT with a viewing prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment at the Farmington City Cemetery, 500 South 200 East, Farmington, UT.
