Helen Ann Miller Mount's Obituary
Helen Ann (Miller) Mount passed away peacefully November 12, 2024 at Lotus Park Care Center.
Ann was born to Fred Extsrom and Helen Ann (Arnold) Miller on April 14, 1939.
She was raised in Ogden Utah and attended St. Josephs Grade School and Graduated from Ogden High School in 1957.
She married Raymond (Ray) L. Mount on Oct 6, 1961.
They welcomed four children into their family, Jeff, Sean, Kelly and Tracy.
Mom spent the early years working for Bob’s Diner and enjoyed her time there. She would always have stories to tell us and some of the fun and practical jokes they would have with all of the regular patrons.
When the kids started coming along, she spent her time being a great mother and housewife raising and caring for all of us. She spent many days and weekends taking us all to hockey practices and games all around the area and was greatly involved with the Golden Spike Hockey Program where she met many lifelong friends. She was a Den mother for cub scouts and leader with the girl scouts.
When the kids got older, she worked at the Dee Litho Print shop where she spent time working with her mother. She also spent many years working for the IRS as a Tax Examiner where she later retired.
One of her great joys was working in her yard and garden.
Mom dedicated herself to caring for Kelly after a life-altering car accident he sustained in 1987.
Mom is survived by her sister, Frances (Fran) Laurene and Rex Call. Her children Jeff (Suzanne) Mount, Sean (Kim) Mount, Kelly (Latrica) Mount and Tracy Dale.
Ann has 13 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
