Helen Truman Clegg's Obituary
Helen Truman Clegg, 82, was surrounded by family and friends who all loved her deeply when she passed away on Sept 27, 2012. Helen graduated from the University of Utah and worked as a nurse until she met and married John Cardwell Clegg in December 1953. They lived in Provo Utah and she spent a happy life with him. She will remain in her family’s hearts, and will continue to be an inspiration and example to everyone who knew her, of how a life should best be lived. She had a lifelong passion for genealogy work. We’re sure right now she is surrounded by grateful ancestors who are congratulating her and thanking her for the work she did on their behalf. Helen is survived by her husband John and their children: Scott Clegg of Orem, UT, Paul and Linda Clegg of American Fork, UT, Suzanne Clegg-McGlone and her husband Theodore of Lynnbrook, NY, David Clegg of South Jordan, UT, James and Aleta Clegg of Pleasant Grove, UT, Sarah Jane and Doug Allen of Lindon, UT, Jared and Tess Clegg of Provo, UT, and Ruth and Mike Stouder of Arlington VA. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Oak Hills 9th Ward Chapel, 2000 North 1500 East, Provo, UT with a viewing at the church prior to services from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Interment at the Heber City Cemetery.
