Helen Carter Johnson's Obituary
Helen Carter Johnson joined her beloved husband, Paul I. Johnson, on October 14, 2015. Helen was sealed for time and all eternity to her sweetheart, Paul, on April 12, 1951 in the SLC temple. Together they raised 6 children in the Ogden area. She enjoyed the outdoors and spent many years cultivating beautiful flowers and gardens. Sewing, crocheting, and collecting dolls were some of her favorite hobbies. Helen loved birds and enjoyed her parakeet’s that hung in her kitchen window. Her life was centered on her family and her faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. Helen served faithfully in the LDS church in the primary and scouting programs.
She is survived by her sisters Vanda, Deana and Pauline, and brother Marvin. Her children Jeff (Vickie), Cindy (Charlie), Jay (Alisha) and Todd (Heather), 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul, daughter Carrie, son Chris, parents Thomas and Bessie Carter, and sister's Barbara and Coleen.
Viewing will be held from 10 am -12pm on Monday October 19, 2015 at the Rock Cliff second ward chapel, 1000 Suncrest drive, Ogden UT 84404 followed by graveside services at 1 pm, held at the Henefer City Cemetery.
