Helen G (Gerri) Kuykendall nee Boylan
Born to Walter F. and Dorothy A. Boylan on May 20, 1939, in the Bronx, New York City, NY.
She passed away on June 10, 2023, in Kaysville, UT.
She married Henry (Hank) Kuykendall on November 26, 1960, who predeceased her passing in Lehigh, FL June 2, 2022.
She was the youngest of six siblings: Mrs. Edna Whitamore, Mrs. Dorothy Claxton, Mrs. Frances Blackwell, Mr. Joseph Boylan and Mrs. Elaine McGurk, all of whom predeceased her.
She is survived by 2 daughters and their families: Dorann Brown of Ramsey NJ. her husband Steve and grandson Conor; and Donna Segni of Kaysville UT, her husband Wes and granddaughter Caelyn.
She retired from Schrade Cutlery Corp after 25 years as bookkeeper; she bowled in the local bowling league and enjoyed playing golf. She was also the “de facto” secretary of the Beaver Dam Club in Grahamsville, NY and of Grandma’s Grove in LaBelle FL where she and Hank retired to full time in 2005.
At Grandma’s Grove and at the Villas, the assisted living community she lived in after Hank’s passing, she was known as a kind, generous and thoughtful person. The residents of both communities expressed how well known she was and how highly they thought of her.
We wish to thank the wonderful caregivers at the Villas who made her last days peaceful.
