When I was about four mom told me the devil lived in the canal behind the house. So one day I decided to go look at him. My friend Kathy and I with Bonnie in tow took off for the canal. Right before we got there we changed our minds. Lol
About the same age Kathy and I went to see the neighbors rabbit. I stuck my finger in the cage , the rabbit tried to eat it. Kathy ran to mom yelling I had been eaten by a chicken. Mom did what all moms would do, she threw flour on it to stop the bleeding and rushed me to the doctors. After cleaning out the flour my finger was saved.
I was almost five we moved to Rose Park. Only thing, mom, dad and Bonnie moved. I was saying good bye to my friend. Hours later they realized something wasn’t quite right. They had left me at the old house. I was traumatized for years.
Mom was the only person I knew that could sleep while floating in water. She would scare me half to death.
We worked together for many years, we definitely could keep the customers laughing.
When we quit in 1989 mom moved in with us for five years. The kids will always remember those special years.
I could go on and on with so many memories. I might write more another day.
I have picked up the phone every day to call her. Needless to say I will miss her.
I love you mom❤️

Mom and I worked together for many years. We kept people entertained and laughing. After we quit mom lived with us for five years. These are special years the kids will always remember.
I have picked up phone at least three times a day to call her. To say the least I will miss her.
I love you mom.❤️
Mom was always so pleasant with everyone. She was the original Koolaid mom. She taught us about grace and compassion and to laugh. I love you mom and will miss you forever
I loved visiting with Helen. No matter how either of our days was going, she could make us laugh together. She never lost her sense of humor.
