Helena "Lena" Lorene Miller's Obituary
Helena “Lena” Lorene Miller, 58, of Roy, Utah passed away 01/01/2025 in her home surrounded by her husband, children and close family. Lena was born on August 5, 1966 to Gayle Locascio (Millard) in Ogden, Utah.
Lena graduated Ben Lomond High school in 1984. She met the love of her life, James (Jim) Edward Miller July of 1987 and married on May 08, 1989 in Ogden, Utah. Their daughter, Cheltsee Miller, was born on June 28, 1989. Lena has two bonus children, Jim’s sons, Nathan and Nic whom she adored with all of her heart. Her baby, Austin Miller was born on October 17, 1996. Jim and Lena resided the majority of their lives in Utah but also lived in Las Vegas, Oregon and Idaho, before settling back to Utah in their forever home in Roy.
Lena was the brightest light in the room, the life of the party and the center of our world right up to the last moment. She will always be remembered for her infectious laughter and tenacious personality. Lena showed her family and friends unconditional love. She was fiery and full of life, and you always knew where you stood with her.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Helen Waters, cousin Geno Hadley and her baby boy, Austin Miller.
She is survived by her husband; Jim, her children; Cheltsee (Brad), Nic and Nathan, her grandchildren, Makenzie, Zane, Codey and, Stetson. Her parents; Gayle and husband, Frank. Her sisters; Jeannie (Kerry) Schneider, Alesha (Keith) Pluta, and her Aunt Connie (Tim) Whitaker. She is also survived by her best friends (sister) Diana and Tim Schapiro, and her bonus children, Brittany Deges and Blake Schapiro. She has nine nephews and nieces. She is also survived by ten brothers and sisters in law and many more nephews and nieces.
Lena will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Premier Funeral Services at 5335 S.1950 W., Roy, Utah 84067 ON January 11th at 11 am. Lena led a colorful life, and we thought it appropriate to wear color in lieu of black to her services.
