Patti my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Lve you stay strong.
This is a short letter that I assisted my sister Patti write for her. I held onto it until after Henry's memorial service in Taylorsville, Utah on September 10, 2011.
Patti liked it so much that she wanted me to include it here for all of the family and Henry's friends to see.
Henry Peter Matej October 22, 1952 ~ September 4, 2011 Dearest Henry, I dreamed of you, as an Angel today, no words I write can ever say, just how much I miss you every day. As time goes by, the loneliness grows. How I miss you, nobody knows. I think of you in silence. I often speak your name, but all I have are memories, and a photo in a frame. No one knows my sorrow. No one sees me weep, but the love I have for you, is in my heart and mine to keep. I never stopped loving you and I don't think I ever will, so there is a place in my heart that no one can fill. I love you, my Henry, and I always will. Now, I am waiting, and doing, the very best I can. ...Til we meet in heaven, ...together, once again. From Your Loving Wife & Friend, Patti
My dearest Henry, I thank you for all of your Love and your many gifts that you have given to me. I thank you for the Love of your family and I know that I enjoyed sharing my family with you too! I promise that our grand children will never forget you too. I know that til we meet again, You are my sent Angel, from heaven above and I know that you will be watching over me. I have been missing you for a long time now and I always will miss you in my life. For-Ever Yours, Your Loving Wife and Friend, Patti

This quote reminded me of Henry today, And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the LIFE in your years. ---Abraham Lincoln Henry, I thank-you for the gift of you, in my life and the life of my family. I will miss you. Til we meet again...
Patty and Robin, Thankful for Penny for posting on facebook about Henry's passing. Although we never met Henry, the Keating family is in our thoughts. Please know that even though miles separate us, years of sharing good times in Nottingham keeps us close in thought. May you find comfort knowing that you will always be together eternally. Love to you all, Tami and Ed Aspan and family
A human life is a story told by God. ~Hans Christian Andersen
Henry Matej was a great story. His story is special to me. He chose me to be part of his story, his life. Henry brought a life to my mom that I had never seen her have before. He was kind and humble. I am grateful for all the love he shared with my children and myself. Our family is only better and that's largely because of him. He may be gone but his love will be felt for the rest of his family's lives.
I am a better person because I have known Henry Matej, my son-in-law, these past 11 years. He is a link to our families eternal salvation and for this I am forever grateful. Henry, you are like a son to me and I ill miss you but very happy you have gone to a better place. We will meet again.
