Henry Pacheco's Obituary
Henry J. Pacheco Sr., 83, a resident of Syracuse, passed away on November 24, 2022 at Thatcher Brook Rehabilitation Center.
He was born December 28, 1938 in Del Norte, Colorado, the son of Juan Esteban Pacheco and Teresita Maes.
Henry served in the Air Nation Guard from 1961-1964. He was employed by Greyhound Bus Lines from which he retired in 1989 and went to work for St. Francis Health Systems until 2001when he retired. Henry moved to Utah in 2003 from Colorado where he resided with his son Henry J. Pacheco, Jr. He was a member of St. Rosa Lima in Layton and also the Knights of Columbus. He loved the outdoors, bicycling, and enjoying time with family and friends.
He is survived by a son, Henry (Marnie) Pacheco of Syracuse, UT, Stephen Pacheco, Oklahoma; four brothers Robert, Juan Cruz (Isabel), Toby (Janice), and Antonio (Katie); as well as 6 grandchildren Nadia Moses, Cherish Pacheco, Eric Pacheco, Alyssa Pacheco, Kaden Pacheco, and Karson Pacheco and two great grandchildren.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife Helen Marie Pacheco, son Gerard Pacheco, mother Teresita, father Juan Esteban, brother Alfonso, and sister Gloria.
A private interment will take place in the spring of 2023.
