I had no idea that Hilde started the buddy program, I loved being a buddy and felt so honored to be chosen. It was so fun to go greet Larelle, my girl, every morning.
Hilde was my Sunday School teacher, her lessons and stories of life in Germany, held me transfixed. She was a force of nature.
I remember how fashionable she always dressed.Now I wonder how she did it on a limited budget.
She was and is a survivor and taught us all how to live.

Hilde Mueller was an example of love and strength to everyone who ever knew her. Her deep love for her family extended far beyond to everyone she ever met. She made Christmas special, never forgetting to give my children and Granddaughter a chocolate advent calendar, wanting to hear about every event in my children's lives, loving to hear them play their music, sharing her own deep love for her family and for her one and only dear husband gone so long ago. She must be so happy to be with him and to share all the wonderful people and experiences she had on Earth while awaiting their reunion. If only we were all as kind and good as she was from beginning to end. What a blessing it was to know her. Love forever, Evan and Bev Terry family
