Heidy was born on October 11, 1949 into a fatherless family of 18, in Roosevelt, Utah. She was the youngest of 19 Children.
Preceding Heidy in Death: Her Father Hillard Ruben Broderick 3/15/1892 - 8/29/1949. Hillard died almost two months before Heidy was born. Hillard’s frist wife: Sara Louise Ruesch 10/25/1889 - 3/30/1934.

Heidy attendant Roosevelt Elementary, Jr. high, and Union high school, while attending high school she work at the Roosevelt Movie Theater. After she graduated from high school she when to Snow College, and latter move to Orem, Utah. Where she lived with her mother and took classes at BYU. She spent two years at BYU obtaining a degree in family history. She also spent another two years at BYU obtaining a degree in Elementary Education and Special and Social education. Heidy Worked for Bayer’s Manufacturing Co. and sewed clothes and won many awards for being the fastest sewer there. She also worked at Trade Technical School as a teacher’s assistant in the lab. She Changed her major from drafting to dental assistant, and went two years at Utah Tech dental school. She love being a telemarketer. She work at Broderick Jewelry for Roy her brother for many years. She became a Jewelist and Goldsmith. She also took very good care of her mother for twenty years. Her Mother was her best friend. Heidy was very interested in religion. At the age of eight. she was baptized and confirmed as member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. She went on a mission to the New England States. Work two years at the Provo Temple an Eight years at the Mount Timpanogos Temple as ordinance worker, and has spent many hours doing genealogy and temple work for the dead. She loved attending the temple with her sisters. She sang in the Utah Valley Single Adult Choir for eighteen to twenty years. She sang tenor so she sat in mens section. She had many friends in the her single ward family and often went on hikes, snowshoeing and family home evenings with them. She love to read and has read many church books. Heidy was a dear sister, awesome aunt, good friend, a very wise Lady. We love her and will miss her very much, Until we meet her again in the next life . We are thankful to Elva’s Family. For the good care Daisy and Todd McCauley, have given Heidy, by letting her live with them the last part of her life. We’re very grateful to their children and siblings for their hard work and loving care.
