Howard P Kirk's Obituary
Howard P. Kirk (Butch) passed away, February 17, 2025, at the age of 73, at the Monument Care Center, in American Fork.
He was born on May 20, 1951, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Charles and Ruth (Slaughter) Kirk. He received his Bachelors degree in criminology at Weber State University. He was in the Marines, worked as a police officer, and later in life became a very successful salesman. He met and married the love of his life, Marie Black Fullmer, on September 2, 1994. Between them, they had six children and helped raise a granddaughter.
Howard was known for his dry sense of humor and generosity. He loved his Coca-Cola, his Oreos, and his peanut butter M&M's. He was very enthusiastic about his chosen careers and really enjoyed working. Howard loved reading the newspaper, shopping, and his cowboy boots, but most of all, he loved his family. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was preceded in death by his son, Paul Kirk.
The family will "close the deal" with a party when spring arrives to honor him and spread his ashes.
