Hunter Wyhatt Crane's Obituary
On Friday September 13, 2019 our beloved Son, Brother and Friend was called to leave this world and join his beloved Grandparents. Hunter was born on April 18,1999 in Provo, Utah. He was in such a hurry to get here that he was almost born in the car on the way to the hospital. He was always in a hurry and rarely looked back.
He loved reading and was constantly filling his head with new information. When he was in the 5th grade his reading and science test scores were that of a 12th grader. He could always tell you a random fact that you never knew you needed to know. In fact, he is the only person that we know that has attended every high school in Provo and Orem. He graduated from YHA in South Sanpete in 2018. He had wanted to become a Welder.
He was full of adventure and life. He wasn’t afraid of anything. He loved to travel and it didn’t matter if it was on foot, car, bike or a train. There was just something about the great outdoors or an open road that brought him great joy. He met a lot of people along the way and was great at making friends.
Hunter was preceded in death by 3 sets of Grandparents and a half-sister. He is survived by his parents Peter and Barbara Crane. His siblings Alicia Stevens (Jeff), Chris Crane (Kelsey), Candice Prothero (Russell), Mckenna Crane, and Terra Crane as well as loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends and strangers.
Hunter you were loved by us all! We know that your mind has calmed and your soul has found peace. We are so sorry that you didn't see another way to chase away your demons. This experience has changed our family and the community forever. We hope that in the long run this experience will help make us all stronger, love more deeply and unconditionally than we ever have before.
With a piece of our hearts missing we must momentarily say good bye. With our love never fading, until we meet again. Fly high Pegasus! You are already greatly missed. Thank you for the last scavenger hunt!
