My Beautiful Aunt Ida, Thanks for always showing us love, I will forever cherish my memories of you. I remember when,I was younger you always coming to visit with us (My Mom Lillie, Sis Merlinda) and I'm so thankful I got to see you @ Ralph's & Gloria's house, we took pictures. I knew Ida when she lived in Los Angeles. She was my sponsor. Her love was sincere. Ida was there for when I had no place to stay, she took me in. I love you Ida.
My life is better because of Ida. She had so many hard ships that would bring many of us to our knees but her belief in our Lord and goodness and her love of her family kept her alive even though these challenges would break me she persevered giving as much love as possible to her huge beloved family...never complaining when we saw the pain in her movements. I am blessed to have known this peaceful angel

Ida was a jewel. She was our baby sitter in Lumberton when we were kids. She use to love to French braid our hair . She always stayed in touch with my mom . She attended my mothers 80 th and 90 th birthday party always a happy lady . She and I talked on face book all the time about our ancestors. Rest in peace beautiful lady May the Perpetual Light shine upon you .
