Ila was one in a million. She brought so much joy to those around her. Her door was always open and we had many conversations about life over a fresh cup of coffee. Ila was a giver...she spent countless hours volunteering were I work. She shared her love of making cards, bringing us her yummy treats and providing lunch for all of us. Of course, she went home with a box of our tomatoes. The Farm in the Dell truly misses their great friend.
It is hard to believe that my wonderful friend is gone but I cherish the memories that we shared.

The world has now had to say "good bye" to one of the "good ones" and Heaven has a new Angel! I was so blessed to be able to call Ila one of those friends you can count on one hand in you life. She was such a dear, sweet person and I cannot picture my life without her having been in it all these years. She taught me how to live fully like she did. We laughed and cried together, we shared, counseled, gave each other advice and vented, and always loved and hugged each other! Her kind and generous soul will be surely missed by everyone who knew her or ever came into contact with her...especially ME! Dixie Finnegan

I am a regular volunteer with the LDS Church at Sunridge, and feel blessed to have known Ila for the few short months she was there. She was a ray of sunshine and a blessing to all who knew her. She was often seen showing concern and friendship especially for those who had special needs. She was such a pleasant and lovely lady, and will truly be missed. Condolences and prayers for all the family.🙏God bless you all at this sad and difficult time.
