Indigo Faith Nikole Carter's Obituary
Indigo Faith Nikole Carter was born on February 17, 1998, in Provo, Utah, to Noelle Nicole Leftwich and Jeffrey Christopher Carter. Indigo left us on April 30, 2021, in Provo, Utah, at the tender age of 23.
Indigo was a care giver at heart, and exemplified this quality throughout her personal and professional life. She cared deeply for everyone around her, and looked for ways to serve others. She was an empath and was highly intuitive to the needs of others, and compassionate toward all. Indigo was a protective and devoted big sister to her brother and sisters, and was adept at keeping them entertained with silly songs and stories, creating cherished memories for them to hold on to.
Indigo’s short life was not always stable and easy, yet she adapted to each and every new place and situation nearly flawlessly, her resilience shining like a beacon. She was a genuine person, and easily made life-long friends wherever she went. An old soul, wise beyond her years and experience, Indigo shared this gift with others, and was not afraid to talk about the difficult things.
Indigo was an avid reader and enjoyed crafting of any kind. She was known for her beautifully handcrafted Christmas gifts. She was quick-witted, brilliant, creative and above all, UNIQUE.
Indigo, we were not prepared to lose you so soon, baby girl. We love you beyond words, and will carry a piece of you in our hearts always.
Indigo was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Noelle Nicole Webster; her father, Jeffrey Carter; her grandmother, Deon Carter; and the love of her life, Colton DeOllos. She is survived by her siblings: Maya Carter, Penelope Carter, and Damien Webster; her grandmother, Sirinda Leftwich Reid (Dave); and her bonus parents: DJ Webster and Lyn Rose (Corbin).
