When I lived in Evanston, Wyoming I would drive to Provo and visit Kim and Isaac. I also would stop and see them at other times as travel permitted. Isaac was always so friendly and warm.. He always made me feel welcomed into their home. One memory that I will always hold in my heart is when I was baptized. Isaac drove to Evanston, bringing their two sons, and came to my baptism. I was so touched that he came and shared with me love and support. It was easy to feel his sincere love.
When I attended BYU, They invited me over and surprised me with a bear birthday cake.
It was great! What work Kim had put into decorating the cake.
One other time I had stopped to see them when traveling, Isaac took family that was traveling with me upstairs and watched a movie with them, giving Kim and I an opportunity to visit and she shared family history pictures and stories with me.
What a wonderful man, with a great smile that created a spark of happiness.
I know he will be greatly missed until the wonderful day of reunification with his eternal family. With much love, cousin Judy Howery.
