Jack Clark Williamson's Obituary
Jack Clark Williamson passed away the 22nd of May, just after reaching 91. He lived a long healthy life as an energetic outdoors man who loved golfing, hiking, and nature as a whole. He was taken by the one thing he could not prevent- complications of age.
Jack was born in Baker Florida to Robert E Lee and Lou Esther Williamson along with four brothers. He joined the Air Force at 18 and achieved a bachelors degree in college. He met and married Janet Barnes and spent a wonderful 68 years together.
Jack and Janet were blessed with two daughters Debbie and Lori, who both gave them grandsons, Chris and Andrew.
His military career turned to civilian employee at Hill Air Force Base where he retired after 30+ years, then spent the next 30 golfing, fishing, backpacking and just enjoying life.
He is preceded in death by both his daughters, Debbie and Lori and grandson Andrew, both his parents and all four brothers.
He is survived by his wife Janet, grandson Chris (Nicolette) and several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces Rebekah and Gina and nephew Robert.
He was a bright light with a joke or a wise crack on the tip of his tongue in this era and will be missed and thought of often.
Viewing will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5850 s. 2575 w. Roy, Tuesday, May 31st at 9:30 am with services to follow at 11:00 am. Interment at Clinton Cemetery with luncheon back at the church afterwards.
