I remember playing battle ship with grandpa in my teens and he would laugh at me because I got so competitive over it and he could not believe it. In the evening when he wanted something sweet, it was his malt ice cream!
Im going to truly miss the amazing blessings he gave. There were many times he helped in my time of need and those blessings were always like none I've ever had.
We were so lucky to have him.
Listening to and singing along to “Tush” by ZZ Top every time we drove together, while he finger-drummed to the beat.
Thank you Jack for letting a long haired, no good teenager, marry your daughter and become part of your eternal family. Thank you for showing me how to be become good husband, father and worthy priesthood holder. Thank you for being the most important positive role model that I really needed in my life.
