Jacki Lynn Schmitt's Obituary
Jacki Lynn Schmitt, age 67, passed away at her home in Roy, Utah on February 14, 2021. She was born September 3, 1953 in Cedar City, Utah to William Leon and Laura May Benson Cannon.
Jacki married the love of her life John Schmitt in 1973. They were married for 47 wonderful years. They traveled the continents of the United states and most of Europe in their adventures.
Jacki gave birth to two wonderful boys, first Jason and then Jesse. She was the de facto mother of many other people, her loving heart always had more room for others. She loved her grandchildren with every ounce of her being.
She was an avid reader and loved animals on a deep level. She offered hospitality to anyone, especially those in need. She treated everyone like family. She was a strong woman and a survivor, living through events even against all odds.
She is survived by her husband, two children and five grandchildren. Her legacy is one that shall endear for generations.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 22, 2021 at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 South 1950 South, Roy, Utah with a viewing one hour prior at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at West Haven Cemetery, 1500 South 2350 West, West Haven, Utah.
