Descendent from a pioneer grandmother who joined the Church as a young woman in Sweden, and a red-bearded Scotsman from Dunfermline, Jacklyn Hoggan was born August 20, 1929, in Salt Lake City. She arrived about 7 months after the Read Obituary
A fabulous woman -- top notch. She was fun but firm with all the kids -- rascals as well as angels -- that she taught and mentored in the halcyon days of Los Alamos Ward and Mountain Elementary School. My sincere condolences to Bishop Paul, and to Gayle, Mark, and Doug.

I can still remember doing Cub Scouts with Sister Goodfellow! She was always so very loving and kind to all of us. As we grew up, Sister Goodfellow was always like an extra Mom to all of the youth in our Ward. She always gave us encouragement, kindness and a loving smile! Her testimony is so strong it always showed as much if not more than it was spoken. She is a true disciple of Christ.
I am very happy with the knowledge of the Gospel that she helped teach me that lets me know that she is still watching over all of us!

When I had children going to Mountain School Jackie was the librarian. I volunteered as a library helper and learned so much from Jacki. She was such an organized person and had such wonderful classes for all ages. I have always been so impressed with her kindness, her quick wit and the way she could handle a large class and maintain order, yet the kids learned so much and had fun... Heaven has another wonderful angel helper with Jackie 's passing. We send our love to the family and prayers for comfort for all, especially Paul. Sandy and Mike Walters.
