Jacqueline Esther Benson's Obituary
Jacqueline E. Benson "Jackie" 1925-2012 Our Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, and Great Grandma left us to be with the Angels in paradise on Sept. 14, 2012. Jackie was a gifted seamstress and loved to sew for her grandkids. She devoted her life to her family. We will forever remember her for her love and kindness. She worked at Sears for 20 years, and retired from the Federal Government after 20 years of service. She is survived by her loving husband, John W Benson of 51 years; her devoted daughter, Sharon Utter; 5 grandchildren, Stacey Leon-Hogue, Michelle Vankomen (John), Piper Leon, Kurt Utter (Kathy), and Justin Leon; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Stewart; daughter, Jackie Ann; granddaughter, Gina Leon; and special Son-in-law, Bob Utter. Sincere gratitude to the staff of the Silverado Senior Living Center and her caring physician. Graveside Services on Wednesday Sept. 19, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Elysian Gardens.
