Jacqueline Yates Hall's Obituary
Jacqueline Yates Hall was born in 1937 in Ely, Nevada.
Jackie lived in many different places throughout her life, including Texas and
Montana, but her favorite places were Panama, which she talked about often,
and of course, Utah. She loved living in Utah because she was able to be close to her
family. She attended high school in Panama and later attended Brigham Young
University in Provo, Utah. In 1956 she married George Boyd Hall.
Jackie is survived by her seven children; Frank, Kathy, Susan, David,
Jonathan, Michael, and Justin; and her sisters Margaret and Gwen.
She is preceded in death by her father, Huish; her mother, Alta; her brother,
Stanford; her sister Eleanor; her son, Christopher; and her husband, Boyd.
Jackie was a grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was an accomplished artist and had taken classes throughout her life,
including at BYU. She entered paintings into several shows and received
various awards for her work.
Jackie’s greatest life achievement was her family. Her family was everything to
her.
Even though Jackie is no longer with us, her impact will be felt for generations
because of the love that she had for everyone that knew her. One of her favorite
sayings was “You can’t learn to love people unless you spend time with them.”
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024, 11:00 am at an LDS
ward house in Bluffdale, 14662 S. 3200 W. A viewing will take place that
morning from 9:30-10:30 am at the same chapel listed above. Interment will be
at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah.
The family would like to especially thank the staff at Ashford Memory Care and
Austin and Nikki from Serenity Hospice for their loving care.
