Jacquelyn "Jackie" Ann Rueff's Obituary
Jacquelyn "Jackie" Ann Rueff, aged 39, passed away on October 30, 2024, in Layton, Utah. Born on October 18, 1985, Jackie was known for her passionate, funny, feisty, caring, protective, and loving nature. She honed her skills and knowledge graduating Magna Cum Laude at Eagle Gate College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Jackie dedicated her professional life to nursing, working as an LPN instructor at Eagle Gate College and impacting many through her commitment to healthcare education. She felt like she had truly found her calling.
From a young age, Jackie loved origami, trying the different folding techniques until they were just right. She loved decorating cakes with her sister for the birthdays of her daughter, nieces and nephews, bringing joy and creativity to every special occasion. She also loved girls' nights with her sister where most of what they did was laugh. Most importantly, Jackie loved every single second that she had with her daughter, Addison. Learning to play Minecraft and volunteering at her play productions to have as much time and connection with her as possible. She was also an avid crafter, with a particular fondness for adding googly eyes to her creations. Jackie's love for her kitty babies, Zoe, Sophie, and Luna, knew no bounds, as they were a central part of her life.
Jackie is survived by her mother, Madelyn Miconi; her sister, Katheryn (Tim) Bond; her daughter, Addison Kaminsky; her nieces, Olivia and Eliza; nephews, Carter and Bennett; grandmother, Patricia Monson; her father, Frank (Kelly) Rueff Jr.; sister, Morgan Collison; brother, Patrick Rueff; uncle, Michael (Cathy) Rueff, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Janet Rueff; and her uncle, Chris Miconi.
A gathering to celebrate Jackie's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Premier Funeral Service 5335 S 1950 W Roy, UT 84067. Her spirit and memories will be cherished by all who knew her.
