Jaime Gálvez Albuquerque nació en Santiago de Chile el 20 de Junio de 1948 y falleció el 18 de Noviembre del 2023 a la edad de 75 años.
Jaime era un amado esposo, padre, hijo, abuelo y estimado amigo. Era conocido por su carácter calmo y su positiva visión de la vida, enfrentando todas las situaciones con paciencia y sabiduría, transmitiendo con su presencia confianza y seguridad.
Como miembro de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días encontraba gozo en su fe, esforzándose por ministrar su llamamiento de la mejor manera para con su prójimo.
De profesión Ingeniero de Ejecución en Geomensura, especialidad que coincidía con su personalidad, amante de la naturaleza y la vida al aire libre. Uno de sus pasatiempos preferidos era estar en las montañas y lagos pescando con sus nietos. Disfrutaba bailar, cantar, tocar la guitarra y compartir una buena comida.
Jaime deja a su amada esposa Cecilia Aviles, a sus hijos Liz, Rodrigo, Jaime Eduardo y Bruno, como asimismo a sus hermanas Marta, Mónica, Daniela y Cecilia.
Se realizará una reunión en homenaje a Jaime en la capilla del Barrio Lighthouse, 3900S 4000W, West Valley City 84120, el próximo Sábado 25 de Noviembre a las 10:00 de la mañana. Viewing de las 09:00-09:45 AM

Jaime Galvez Albuquerque, 75, passed away on November 18, 2023. He was born on June 20, 1948, in Santiago, Chile. Jaime was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, and friend.
Jaime was known for his calm demeanor and wise outlook on life. He approached every situation with collected grace and was admired for his observant nature.
Professionally, Jaime was a geotechnical engineer. He chose this path because of his love for nature and the outdoors. Jaime’s favorite activity was enjoying the mountains, lakes, and fishing with his grandchildren. He also loved dancing, singing, playing the guitar and sharing a good meal with loved ones.
Jaime found joy in his faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was devoted to his religious beliefs and to ministering to others.
Jaime is survived by his loving wife, Blanca Cecilia Aviles Martinez, their children Liz, Rodrigo, Jaime Eduardo, and Bruno, and sisters Marta, Monica, Cecilia, and Daniela.
A ceremony to honor and remember Jaime's life will be held at Barrio Lighthouse Chapel, 3900 S 4000 W, West Valley City, 84120 on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM, with viewing from 9:00 to 9:45 AM.
Jaime Galvez Albuquerque will be deeply missed by his family, and friends. His legacy of wisdom, grace, and dedication will forever be cherished.
